Carnival Cruise Ectasy

Recently my husband and I went on our first cruise to celebrate Elliott's 32'nd B-day. It was a little scary at first but a great experience for us both. We ported in Cozumel, Mexico and spent the day snorkeling on the beach...this was also a first for the both of us. I was scared to death at first to get in the water but after a few tequila shots I was okay..hehe. It was great swimming along side my hubby and seeing all the beautiful fish, shells, and starfish. On the cruise we celebrated with a little too much gambling and slots but fortunately we won a little money, unlike in Vegas. LOL. Hope you had a wonderful B-day Elliott! I love ya!

Party Time!!

Blake, Blake, Blake...what is that big sombrero doing on your head? LOL

My "Angel" Children

Blake potty trains himself

As most of you know, little Blakey has been potty training himself for months now and demands to wear "big boy underwear" every chance he can get. As wonderful as this may sound, it has not been as fun as you think. In between going back and forth to the potty millions of times during the day and taking off poo diapers to surprise me with I am about to go a little bit crazy! Not to mention Elliott for some odd reason thought it would be a great idea to teach him to stand on the step stool to go pee, so of course Blake thinks this is a load of fun. However, he is coming along greatly and loves to put on his own underwear....as you can see! They may usually be backwards but I am proud and always get a good laugh in when it happens:)

Before Blake's haircut

I like to call this hairstyle "Mom's little rock star"...LOL...some people say he looks like a girl.....but I don't think so:)

After Haircut

Blake after hair cut....happy as can be! Is that the "dumb and dumber" hair cut? Thank goodness it grows back!! LOL, j/k Julie:)

Blake's first hair cut

Well.. I promised my Grandmother over Christmas that as soon as someone called my baby boy a girl that I would go ahead and cut his hair (not knowing it would happen so soon, of course). Sure enough we were in the bank the other day and a woman walked by asking if "she would like a sticker". As my heart sank I politely replied, "he is a boy, but sure he would love a sticker". As to my surprise she looked at me and said "well he has beautiful hair". I said thank you and thought... well yes, but it is time. So, after a couple of glasses of wine I built up enough courage to tell my sister "okay get the clippers and lets do it, and hurry before I change my mind!". Lets just say she did not hesitate one second and my babies' beautiful, long, whispy, blonde hair that I had loved so much was gone. But hey, after all, he is a boy right?, and now he looks like one too:) WAAAA!
